ILoveSXM posted that there were bikers from a cruise ship at SSBB on day. Does anyone know which cruise line? I'd like to tell my nephew. Especially since the ship stops in SXM, they'd have best of things.

It may be that they switch off from cruise line to cruise line, not sure. I know one time it was Royal Caribbean.

I ran into a bunch of those guys at SSBB back in 2006. I've been a Harley guy since the first time I saw one. When I heard those guys ( must have been 80 of them ) pull up I was pretty impressed. I can't say given the state of the roads and the traffic, not to mention those morons on the scooters, that I would be interested in bringing my Harley here. Try ETA Motorcycle Cruises. Cheers

Wed Feb 3, there was a large group of bikers - Harleys - at the Marigot market. They were from a Cruise ship, not sure which one, they said they did lot's of cruises - not just the Caribbean - taking their bikes as groups.

Friends of mine will be on the Celebrity Eclipse in January 2017 with their bikes, they stop in SXM on their cruise.

In January 2014, we met up with a "gang" of bikers off a cruise ship. They were a law enforcement group from the Atlanta area raising funds for the Special Olympics! They had police escorts, which I think is a great idea given the traffic. Said the cruise company only charged $250 per bike stowage. Very reasonable in my opinion.

I think they were on one of the celebrity cruises, there were three in port that day. Such a wonderful group of bikers, mostly in there 50's. They road together all over the island and you could hear the roar of the mufflers as they rode through grand case one afternoon. I'm sure the kids on scooters didn't bother with them:-)))

But if you do knock one of those scooter fools over the paperwork is a bitch. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> Cheers

Saw the motorcycle cruise in St Maarten on 2 consecutive days, Feb 3 & Feb 4. Counted about 50 bikes riding by our place the first day, then about 30 the second day. I had checked the internet before leaving home, found that one was a 7 day cruise, and the other was a 2 week cruise - the 2 different cruises just happened to hit SXM 2 days in a row. Agree with what one poster said...I would have no desire to ride in SXM. If you're interested, look up ETA Motorcycle Cruises.
