So ....apparently we waited a bit too long to book our airline tickets for our upcoming April charter trip. Delta wanted $1400 or 150,000 miles per ticket to fly out 4/2 and back 4/10. Ouch! We finally settled on a 75,000 mile ticket, out of Traverse City, MI, leaving 3/31 and returning 4/11. Not the end of the world. Was able to book the 2 nights pre-charter at Scrub Island for 40,000 Marriott points per night. Looks like a beautiful place! I'm looking forward to relaxing in the sun for a few days before we start our charter. Post charter, I've got us a room at the Nanny Cay hotel - close to the charter company so we won't need to rent a car (just a taxi to the ferry dock next morning). We looked around Nanny Cay last November when we visited Virgin Motor Yachts - looks like a nice little "village" with a cool vibe going on. Seems like no matter how many times we make this trip (yes, feeling very blessed that I can make that statement!), I always seem to have questions. We arrive in STT on a Thurs at 2:40 pm (we actually make it to STT in one day - yay!) will contact Kevin for taxi to ferry dock. To get to Scrub, I'm assuming we ferry to Road Town, taxi to Beef Island airport and then take the Scrub (free) shuttle over to Scrub Island. Am I missing anything? On charter day, simply take Scrub ferry back to Beef, and then taxi to Nanny Cay to our charter? Is there a "Kevin" on Tortola for taxis?
Thanks! Julie

Sounds like that is pretty much it, except take the taxi to Trellis Bay, not the airport (which is a few hundred yards away). I think the ferry to Scrub is every hour at :45 past the hour (3:45, 4:45, etc.) I have good luck with Albert and Iris handling my taxi rides (284)499-2032. Tell them Papa Noel says hi.

Noel, you beat me while I was logging in! The OP looks to be traveling on a Thursday. For anyone traveling on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it's worth checking last-minute deals on Cape Air STT to EIS; this weekend they are $102. That price would cut your travel time to Scrub significantly, and cost very little more.

Thanks Noel! Yes the ferry leaves every 45 mins up till 10:30 pm. For $102 I would love to fly to EIS! When we're at the Pump Room or on the deck of the ferry we see a seaplane loading up luggage and passengers. Someday I want to arrive by seaplane! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
