Will be in Tortola for our 5th time the end of April, we have not been back in about 4yrs... so excited to return! We have only ferried there once the other times we flew in back in the day when it was easy to do! We are leaving Tortola on a friday and have a 1:20 flight out of STT. If taking the 10am ferry out of WE will we have enough time to make the 1:20 flight? I think we will be ok, just not sure how long C&I will be when we dock in CA. I seem to remember it took longer than I had anticipated last time. Also the 10am WE ferry could be 10:30 as it alternates according to the ferry schedule. Thinking the 7/7:30 ferry would be an option but not sure if being that early is reliable...Any thoughts/comments from regulars would be great.

The 10AM for a 1:20 flight is cutting it very close. 7:30 will be MUCH safer. Check your bags with the STT ferry terminal taxi assoc. And walk over to French Town Deli for breakfast.

If you need a 4th....go for the earlier. We have had some times where in hindsight it would have worked.
I have to disagree with GlennA, I much prefer Glady's for breakfast. Killer Bloody Marys and an Lobster stuffed avocado. But again, leave the luggage with the taxi stand. If you are feeling paranoid about timing, there is a pretty good restaurant at the end of the parking lot at the airport. Stay away from the roach coach on the road by the beach going to the airport.

Definitely take the earlier ferry, and if all goes well store your luggage at their counter and enjoy Charlotte Amalie for the morning.

Really pushing your luck on the 10am ferry. Unless you have a full fare unrestricted airline ticket, like they've said, 7/730 boat.

If you are leaving the last week of April, remember that is Carnival on St. Thomas. Things may be hopping and you need to be at the airport 3 hours before your flight.

Just back, and can confirm the 10:00 am will not work. It was actually 10:30 am when the ferry (Native Sun) left West End, and 12:00 noon by the time we retrieved luggage and cleared Customs & Immigration.
