A lot of snow in Dublin lately, very unusual

Are there any hot air ballon rides in Ireland? As beautiful as the countryside is, I bet it would be gorgeous from the air.

cool, very unique idea, this site: http://www.balloonflights.ie/ has a video of hot air balloon rides and it looks gorgeous.

Wow....watched the video,and it looks great...I see they take off from different sites, but I didn't see anywhere how long the ride lasts. Has anyone taken the ride and can tell me about the length of the ride, and what if you have to cancel because of the weather?

I loved the town of Dingle, when I return, there is a good chance we will stay there for sure. One thing I didn't check before we went, is there anything like campgrounds there, and as rural as much of the country is, would it be considered safe?

Hi, thanks for your response. It sounds like you have been more than once, do you stay at b + b's, or hotels? I liked the b + b's better I think. Any suggestions as to picking one place to stay if you have a week or so? Thanks.

Has anyone been to the Giant's Causeway? It looks unbelievable in pictures, is it that way in person? Anything else up in that area that is worth the trip? Thanks!

Giant's Causeway is A W E S O M E. I had never heard of it as was amazedwhen we stumbled upon it. I still can't believe nature, the creator, layed out hexagonal column patio stones like that has to bemillions of them. Truly an underrated wonder of the world.

I have been to the GIANT"S CAUSEWAY several times and each time is as exciting as the first. I think of it as one of the great wonders of the world! The entire Irish countryside is amazing.

I really hate we did not make it to the causeway..everything I have seen on tv about it makes it not only seem beautiful, but hard to believe also! Any thoughts after seeing it as to how it was formed?

Volcanic matter cooled in hexagonnal crystal structures.....I'm sure wikipedia will explain better.

All I know --- a wonderof the world like the eyeball. I blame the creator for these works of wonder.

yes, I recently saw a show on the travel channel about it too...it showed the same structures across the waters in Scotland...and says it is underwater all the way there..wow..I hope to get back there and see it someday!

We did a day trip to one of the Aran Islands, but we also saw people going out with their suitcases to stay...have you or anyone you know stayed there? If so, what can you do..it was beautiful, but looked rather barren as far as activities.
