Hallucination was talking about some that were now missing. Didn't there used to be some at Stanley's?

The 5 "luv seat hammock" chairs that were at Stanleys. where your feet hung over the outside of the deck. They could be comical to get in and out of, depending on ones condition.

Yes, things have changed over the 11 years I have been sailing to CGB and not all good. But hey I have changed too. Not all good either. In the past 14 days, I have spent four wonderful days and nights there. Yes, I now lock my dinghy, but it is still so flat and calm and just beautiful. And the people are wonderful when you get to know them. I will spend at least one more day there before I leave with my last guest. Right now I am at Pirates Cove at the Bight. A good crowd. Parden any mispellings as I am two painkillers in.

The ones I'm speaking about at Rhymers were at ground level at the front of his restaurant and T-shirt shop

I'm glad I'm mistaken on this as even though we haven't been there in a few years those swings at Elms were/are great <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

If you miss CGB (and who doesn't??) you can always buy a picture of sunset there and hang it in your office. Not that I'm pimping myself or anything. Cuz that would be wrong...

If you are really in pain missing Cane Garden Bay, Charmaine posted a picture a few years ago that will fix it. It was looking down the beach from Rhymers on a 3 ship day with the copious aft end of a German speedo in the foreground. Guaranteed to relieve you of the desire for a few minutes at least! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Devil.gif" alt="" />

Fortunately, the cruise ship passengers need to be back aboard their ship in the early afternoon which leaves CGB to everyone else. Enjoy!

Sitting here at the Tu Tu Tun Lodge on the fabulous Rogue River , Oregon, "CGB dream'n". CGB is the greatest dichotomy in the Caribbean. Simply go there when Mal does-at it's best. See you at Bistro Jeanty in a few weeks

It takes a real investment of time to learn about the real CGB. Many folks will never know, just won't ever get it.

can't imagine going to the BVI and NOT going there!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> It was our first real experience in the BVI, Rex and I were married there in 2003 so it's truly a special place. We had family staying on land and we were on the boat, used it as a "home port" for five days while we day sailed everyone everywhere. That was out first trip ever to the BVI so it was all magical of course <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Banana.gif" alt="" />

Have continued to make some fabulous memories and hilarious stories there since. That's where I met Linda Kay randomly at Rose's LOL

It would be fun to start a scavenger list hunt for some of the various areas...like

"where on CGB can you get a salami and cheese sandwich for two dollars on a freshly baked roll?"

We got married in Apple Bay! Our first place in the BVI was Sebastian's and it's always been a special place for us. We stayed at Rhymer's after being on Windjammer for a week and that's when we fell in love with CGB - have been going back ever since. Just love love love it there.

Fun idea! Person who finds said item must take picture with sandwich and price tag <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

And along with the picture, post the next question! That way whoever is down next will have a fresh quest!
