We are chartering out of Compass Point Marina May 30 (in 9 days!) My wife likes to pick out fruits, veggies, meat, etc. and doesn't mind grocery shopping, but I would like to have our heavy stuff delivered. I've probably waited too long to accomplish this, but it's worth a shot.
Any recommendations for provisioning companies?

Food Center is across the street. You could walk there and taxi back.

Is it worth $40 to have them deliver? You are going to the store anyway, and the taxi driver can drop you off...

I thought we had used a provisioning company last time, but I was wrong. It was Bobby's in the BVI the time before that. My daughter reminded me about having to lug water jugs from Food Center to the dinghy. So that's the plan again. Thanks all

We have our boat at Independent Boat Yard near Food Center. Its an easy walk for provisions, except for drinkables - that sucks! I think in July we're going to taxi with Kevin and have him wait for us while we get our water, beer, champagne and rum.

Cheers, RickG Good idea! Do you know the name of the little restaurant/bar near the boat yard? We had a great time there on the sleep-aboard evening of our last trip. My son was on fire with the ring toss! I apologize for hijacking my own thread <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/pirate.gif" alt="" />

Cariga's. Fun spot with boaty flavor. Love the fish tacos and any of Randy's Italian dishes.

Cariga's has a great breakfast too. Lots of characters and good food at good prices.
Cheers, RickG
