Anyone been?
I'm reading that it is at times difficult to get a hold of them on the phone to make a reservation. Speaking of reaching them by phone, anyone have a phone # they know is current? Previous guests say that you just "show up" and it's not a problem. A crew member is getting to Tortola a day too early this week and would like to get by on the super cheap for one night until the rest of us arrive for our charter.

By the time he's paid camp site fees plus taxi fare there and back to Brewers he can probably get a cheap room in Road Town. When all I wanted was a bed and a shower, I used to stay at the A & L Inn http://www.ultimatebvi.com/go/A-L-Inn/ right in town with plenty of food and drink options right there. Don't know the price these days but was under $100 last time I stayed 3 years ago.

If he is coming in at West End > Fish and lime (what did it use to be called?) > previous owner had rooms there at the restaurant for pretty cheap. rs

She. Buncha sexist folks around here! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
I appreciate the recommendations, but it turns out that she will need to stay in Road Town in order to pick up her fishing license before the office "closes early on Friday", she'll be getting in Thursday afternoon/evening most likely. Looking into A&L and the Fort Burt Hotel- both seem to have reasonable rates.
