We would prefer to stay at El Dorado Seaside Suites, but would definitely like the option of visiting Hidden Beach during the day. Is this possible? I've seen reviews and comments in threads stating such, but the Karisma booking center agent said that HBR can use EDSS facilities, but not the other way around. Also, he did not believe they issued day passes for HBR. Anyone know if this is doable, or if the "official party line" is strictly enforced?

Access to Seaside from HBR is included.
There is an additional charge for guests at Seaside to visit HBR.

Can you purchase a day pass if you're not staying at EDS or one of their other properties?

Yes!
Day passes are from 9 to 5 and cost around $100.us Show your AANR card for a discount at Hidden Beach.
You will be required to sign a contract about behaving properly and surrender your ID until you check out.
They have tons of towels and will give you a golf cart ride to and from the highway if you take a collectivo.
Reservations strongly recommended.
