Quick post here to share some awesome news:
We're at Soggy Dollar yesterday afternoon. My daughters boyfriend proposed to her - on one knee, on the beach. It was so lovely!
We're moored in front of Ivans right now. Last day.
Full trip report next week!

So nice! We were married on the beach at Sandcastle. Twenty years later, so far so good.

Got married on board off of Norman 10 years ago this August - I think they should return and get hitched in the ilons....assuming she said yes....

She said yes! It'll be a cottage wedding - lakeside at our place. But maybe they should honeymoon down here!

Hmm.. getting married on Tortola ??
Getting a fishing licence has proven to be difficult for some...

Imagine trying for a Marriage licence...hmmm.....that be a "whole-'nudder-ting-man"

We got a BVI marriage license <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> - and that story is hilarious....our first introduction to ilon time...but I will always treasure being listed as "spinster" <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

Funny that the 72 hour rule is no longer in place...but forever grateful that it was in place when we got married since that was when we discovered Sebastian's and Apple Bay...

A cottage wedding is a really great idea. Destination weddings may be all the rage but I always felt they were a bit selfish. This way all your friends and family will be able to enjoy the wedding events at a reasonable cost. They can then have a fantastic honeymoon in the BVI!

Ah Ha, maybe it's not being selfish but wanting to get away from gossiping Air heads. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
