I spent a relaxing day on-site while David went on a Rhino Riders excursion from morning into the afternoon. The rain came and went throughout the day—brief but heavy when it did fall. I stayed on the deck the entire time, with nothing noteworthy to report.

We made a reservation for a high-top table at Roma/Mr. Chow, and it was a great decision to message Marco a few days before our arrival. This ensured we had a guaranteed spot and the opportunity to order from either the Asian or Italian menu .

For those who haven’t visited since before December, they now have an outdoor patio with several tables in the garden area near the pizza oven. The hostess mentioned it officially opened in December, which wasn’t the case when we last visited in early November.

From the happy hour menu, we ordered the fried spring rolls, which were crispy and flavorful. We also tried a sushi roll. The Latin Roll—shrimp tempura, avocado, and plantain on top, drizzled with Sriracha mayo. The menu mentioned a chipotle sauce, but I didn’t notice much heat. Still, it was delicious and highly recommended.

For entrées, David had the linguine with clams —there were plenty of clams, and he really enjoyed the dish. I opted for a Caesar salad with garlic shrimp, It was just the right portion and very satisfying.

Dessert was a decadent chocolate tart served with ice cream—unfortunately, I can’t recall the name, but it was rich and indulgent.

Service was excellent, as always. We enjoyed chatting with the bartenders and waitstaff we’ve come to know over the last few years. Marco, the ever-gracious host, made his rounds with warm greetings, hugs, and conversation.

By 7 PM, both restaurants were packed, and there was a line forming outside. If you’re planning to visit, a reservation is recommended!
