The Mobile Priority 50GB, $250 per month plan is indeed changing. Once you run out of your 50GB, your download speed will be cut to 1 MBit/sec, which is way too low for streaming. To keep your speed up, you will be required to buy the additional 50GB blocks, the price of which is being increased from $50 per block to $100 per block. See this link for the new pricing.

An excerpt from the email that I received three days ago from Starlink:

Starting 30 days from today, you will be automatically moved to one of the new Starlink Priority plans on your billing date. All new Priority plans will enable in-motion use*, a 99.9% network availability service level agreement**, and more flexibility on plan size.

The new plan includes updates to your Terms & Conditions and an adjustment to your monthly price. You will be moved to the plan and recurring data block combination that best matches your current plan. See the table below for details.

If your data usage needs change, you can customize your monthly data in three ways:

Adjust the monthly data amount. Add or remove data blocks in increments of 50GB or 500GB.

"Opt-in" to be automatically charged for additional 50GB blocks of Priority data when you run out of your monthly Priority data allotment, at an additional cost.
Please note: All customers will be opted-out of additional recurring data by default at the time of the transition. If you run out of your included monthly Priority data and have not opted-in to be automatically charged for additional blocks of data, your speeds will be reduced to approximately 1 Mbps download and 0.5 Mbps upload.

Add individual top-up blocks in increments of 50GB to use for the remainder of your billing period.

However, I heard last week (but cannot confirm) that Starlink is about to be approved for use in the BVI.

sure hope it gets approved since then we can go with the residential plans. This situation is ridiculous.

Just spoke to a minister who told me it is in the pipeline. A few more months for approval. Sure hope this happens. Then we can go to the residential plan high speed at $120/mo or the slower speed plan at $80/mo both offer unlimited use.
