I was on charter from February 23 to March 1. First time in the BVI since 2017.

It was our crew's first time sailing a cat -- Pirelli from BVI Yacht Charters. BVIYC suggested that we have a hired captain aboard for the first day, and Captain Earl was excellent. The boat was mostly in great shape, with the biggest problem being very high friction in some of the blocks.

We went the cushy-but-expensive route and stayed in marinas every night. VGYH (Spanish Town), Bitter End, Leverick Bay, Scrub Island, and Peter Island. The sailing was beautiful -- good wind, good weather, mostly calm seas.

It was great to be back!

Dan cheers
