So, two sheriffs cars on west side of A1A forced everyone to park at Mud Creek. We walked down a1a. Mac sports chair carts made it as good as possible
Mid Creek is where a lot of people launch their boat and park their truck/trailer. That plus all the nudists leaving 5 feet between every car made the lot fill too quickly.

The Sheriff stayed til mid-afternoon and when he left people started parking on West side of A1A. It’s a long walk back to mud creek parking lot when you’ve been sitting in a chair for 5 or more hours. Left the stuff at the trail-A1A intersection and went and got the car and came back and loaded up.

How many cars can fit at Mud Creek, would you say?

IDK, I would guess much less than Blind Creek lot. I heard somewhere Blind Creek could squeeze 200 cars and the paved lot will hold 186 or so. Don’t quote that. If you got to satellite view, St Lucie County should triple what they have planned because we have been parking on A1A for years when full.

The mud creek boat launchers have to be grumbling and will be parking on A1A as well. One boater had no choice but to freeze out six car spots with his rig.

If I were the county, I’d scrap the real restrooms and pave more parking lot and double the number of port a potties and their frequency of service.

If memory serves, I would estimate the Mud Creek lot is about 1/4 the size of the Blind Creek lot i.e. around 40-50 cars. It must fill before 9AM on weekends.

The beauty of blind creek is it is beautiful and free. Most don't want to relax on the beach to come out to a ticket.

If you are going to make the effort, plan to go early and spend some time.

I personally would like to see parking allowed on the west side of A1A. Reduce the speed for a mile.

People have always parked on both sides when the lot overflowed and I don’t remember worrying about a ticket.
