A long term travel and sailing friend couple have acquired an interest in a 82' motor sailer in the Med. (We just finished a 8 day sail with them in the BVI two weeks ago on a 56' sailcat!)
We plan to join the boat in Sardinia for two weeks in late July and early August 2025. Not definite as where we will start/stop based on repositioning, but figure we will cover the east coast, from south to north. Looking for your suggestions of destinations to miss, or to be sure to visit.
We then plan to fly to Switzerland for another week or so before heading back to the USA. Any insight and advice is greatly appreciated on both of these destinations. Thanks,

Haven't spent much time on a boat around Sardinia but the Costa Smeralda at the north east tip is the go to sailing destination. If your skipper is willing to cross the narrow strait to Corsica, then Bonifacio on the southern tip of Corsica is one of the great harbours to sail into. Haven't done it myself, yet, but friends videoed entering and I really want to go there.

Thanks Mike! At one point we thought we could go from southern Sardinia and north to top of Corsica. But I believe that may be too adventuresome, and may end up like a delivery. I think it may be flying into Obino and sailing north from there. And yes, cross to Bonifacio.
