Obviously, that story is referring to Babacool, among others, or whatever the name of it is. There should be some way to fix this situation. It's no wonder that development has gone on unabated on the Dutch side. One has to wonder whether this situation was on purpose, that basically no one could object to any of these projects.

On the Babacool Simpson Bay beach destruction the word is that somehow got an illegal building permit oked by a former gov minister who is rumored to be a money partner by calling it a temporary building which it obviously it NOT and then as the article says did not legally advertise it in time so its anyone could object. Just a stupid idea that no way would have been legally gotten, with more cars down that already crowded road, no parking, building is just a foot away from condos bedroom windows. It never should have been for commercial use, only condo with limited people.. Obviously someone in Gov did not advertise it in time for a reason. But they also need a business license to open so that is what the Gov can do now to fix this non sense by not letting it open or have it torn down. I understand it is the same District 721 owners that have had lot of legal issues in Cold Bay and pissed off Gov and neighborhood and just try to bully everyone . I see that Simpson Bay Residents have formed a group to stop them so expect this one to end up in Court too. A fool and his money maybe.
