Anyone attending the concert?

RonDon - We arrive the day of the concert, so if we are not too tired because of lack of sleep we might see if there are any tickets left. We tried to buy tickets online but they are only available at a few locations on island.

Tickets are still avail. It's $150 ea. Tables are being set up tonight...looks like an intimate event so far.

Tickets can be bought at casino.

Thanks for the ticket info, good to hear they are still available. We would like to go and see Dionne and support the Academy for the Performing Arts but it's our arrival day and we have to be at the airport by 3:30am. So I either have a nap by the pool in the afternoon OR go to the Driftwood and have a couple of rum punches and go straight through the night We'll see what happens.

Whaletail, from what i can tell... you will def see dionne up close n personal. There r middle front tables, and some to the side.. i dont know yet, say 50 or 75 tables??? Not sure.

If you are a dionne warwick fan, this is a must see. She will be very real. Im guessing, you'll see her makeup from all tables.

Though i could be wrong and they are setting up tonight for a juggler...lol

Note: they were just startin the set up tonight.. the side elevated section looked started but not the floor.

For those in the know, they are setting up the small stage behind the bar.

Annnddd, i am making huge assumptions on this, but iykyk.

$150 gets you a seat for the show, but the seating at the cocktail tables (which seat 4) is $250 a pop. Unless of course you spring for the VIP table at $5,000! Those tables do come with drinks and snacks, but there wasn’t any mention of how many seats at those tables. The source of my info was the Casino website.

We are staying on the other side of the island, so we would also need a taxi both ways. I would love to see Ms Warwick perform and also support this worthy cause, but after some considerable deliberation, I decided to give the amount of $ we would have spent on this concert to “All About a Smile” instead.

It will go towards giving the foster kids on SXM a Christmas gift.

I will anxiously await hearing about the concert! I’m sure that anyone who attends will have a night to remember.

I believe the VIP table seats 10 so $500 per seat. I'm OK with the cheap seats.

Prairiegirl, that makes sense. I chatted with the lady at the desk tonight and though i asked pointed questions, she did say something about $250 a table...oops!
