As our kids have grown up, we're always looking for more to explore. So we started chartering a private boat a few years ago.

This was our 3rd daytrip with Captain Alan in Oyster Pond. the only PITA for us is waking up early to get fro Mayo to OysterPond before rush hour really kicks in.
But was our 1st time to Anguilla....

Today our captain was Alan's son and 1st mate was his other son. I love family run businesses!

These fine young gentlemen took us to
Rendezvous Bay,
Malliouhana,
Prickly Pear,
Sandy Island
& Scrub island.

Lots of private coves & beaches to explore. The only place with boats was Sandy island and there were only 3 boats there smile. The teens encountered a border collie who wanted to get in on the game of catch. Also I joined the teens in jumping off a rock into the ocean. 9-5 on the boat.

some pics.

Thanks for the pics! Did you have a drone onboard?

So, was it just you on the charter? We did that once during the height of Covid and I loved it. But I assume that the cost would be considerably higher right now.

We started during Covid as well, just 4 of us on the boat that seats a dozen.

This was our 3rd time, and first time with our joining friends.

Same day rate for the boat, in all 3 years.

This is something we want to do in a couple years when our daughter is a bit older. There are so many nooks and crannys to explore. Thanks for the awesome pictures.

How old is your daughter now?

Honestly, it's so worth it, I wish I did it prior to COVID.

Was just chatting my my teens a few hrs earlier.....they are already planning next year LOL.....on my dime!
