If anyone interested don't forget to make reservations way in advance. Two years in a row, even though 2 weeks ahead, they were booked.
I just made rsvp for St Patrick's day Sunday March 17.

And just FYI, there is seating without tables around the "tabled" area that's first come, first served. And you can sit at another restaurant and hear the music although you won't be able to enjoy the interaction among musicians from afar.

Rondon--It depends when you go. We went in June 2023 and made reservations and did not need them.

Yes, we've eaten nearby (Mama's) but you don't hear music as good plus you can't see the band.
Last year, without a rsvp, we ate inside with another couple. Could here the music very well.

We are planning on attending 3 Sunday jazz performances on our next trip but thought we would make reservations once on island. Thanks for the heads up, maybe we should do it now. Did you make the reservations from their website?

Wale Tail I had always waited until on island with no luck so I just emailed them and got a quick reply. I had planned to wait a little longer until I realized it was St Pat's day and thought that might be a factor.
If I recall who you are I think we met one year at Mama's then moved over to Rendesous for caffe gaicehoise. I remember a necklace with a whale tail.

If you are in the area March 17th, stop by Dany's near sunset and visit! MJ'S birthday! It might become a tradition! All welcome, let us know so we can make sure there's enough bartenders!

RonDon - Yes you are correct we met at Mama's for cocktails and listened to the jazz from Rendezvous, it was our first time there and have been back every visit since. So I took your advice and sent an email to them for 2 Sundays for our upcoming visit including March 17th! We haven't heard back as of yet, but we did send it late in the day. We look forward to seeing you once again. And Todd if I behave myself at Rendezvous we would love to wish MJ a Happy Birthday!

We will arrive at least 30 minutes before sunset, likely earlier. Staying walking distance away. Would love to meet you, a great group there at Dany's.
All others welcome, just let us know so we can let them know.
Cheers!
