Flew home January 9th. Super easy. Used Jetway to board plane. Zero issues didn’t have bags but lines weren’t bad either. Arrival was the same - no drama and a very short wait.

Kim,
The problems at the airport are on really busy days like Saturday.
I think the people in charge of the airport are hoping that people like you respond on Facebook pages etc about your experiences at the airport vs people like me who came and went on a Saturday. THAT day is a nightmare.

Just reporting what I dealt with. I’ve been hearing Saturdays have gotten much better - unless there have been flight delays!! Lesley (Kenny’s) can tell more about the recent Saturdays.

Well we were at Sunset Beach watching the boat people and the jets land. Now this was a Wednesday and there were 8 decent size aircraft scheduled to land between 2p and 3P. AFwas a few minutes lateso that helped but still why? (United, Spirit JB, AA x2, Delta x2 and AF)

It depends if Airfrance lands before the small planes then a back up happens and Airfrance now has two flight per day plus KLM one per day .

I also flew down and back 12/13-12/17. I was freaked out flying home on a Sunday and we were lucky as it wasn’t awful. Hopefully each week things just keep getting better. My daughter is flying 2/17-2/24. So it shall be interesting!!
