We had breakfast at Reveil Matin this morning and it was great as usual and I'm not posting pictures of it because I'm sure I've posted pics of what we had today, before. All I can say is that if you haven't been there you should. Just remember that it is cash only. After breakfast my wife wanted to go across the road to check out TY Art & Gifts. It's an unique gift shop and all my wife purchased was a bracelet, it could have been worse smile

Always a good breakfast there. A little spendy but worth it.

Glad you had another great experience at Reveil Martin. The little shop across the road has had many different lives over the years.

Whale Tail--I would have posted a picture of the breakfast anyway! grin I LOVE Reveil Matin!

I am clueless, I guess. When you say "across the road", do you mean across Welfare or Airport Road, whatever you call it? Or on the same side of the road, to the side? What do they have there? I've never been there, obviously.

Always loved Reveil Martin, but I think we pay enough for the breakfast, that they would

not charge for a decaf refill. It brings up the cost another $8 to $10 on our bill. We always tip more than the 15%

I know it is brewed separately, but it's not a fancy coffee like they serve. .

I'm not saying the food isn't good.

IT is across the road and very near where the German restaurant (Bavaria) was located. They used to have a couple of apartments upstairs that they rented.

Terri--we always get enough food to take home for another breakfast. We generally only go out to breakfast once or maybe twice on island, so I don't really worry about cost much.

JD--thanks. I will have to check it out next time.

Carol, we aren't worried about the price, but feel we should get a refill on our coffee.

We have raved about them to many people, just a little pet peeve .

We usually continue to go a few times.

I guess I never really took note of that. That does seem kind of cheap. We don't drink nearly as much coffee as we used to. We only drink one cup in the morning at home.

Carol, to answer your question about the Ty Art and Craft Shop, this is a lovely small shop, which has something for everyone on your gift list, or just something for yourself.
They have everything from jewelry, purses, kitchenware, blankets, woven carpets, lotions, soaps, and even greeting cards, hand made in store, together with some beautiful Chrismas decor. Truly, a must visit.

Mrs. Whale Tail--thanks for much for the note and the pictures. I will definitely have to check out that place next trip. Thanks again!
