Turbulent flight out of JFK yesterday. JB didn’t depart at 6:35am but rather closer to 9.
Beachside Villas took the precaution and put us up elsewhere off the beach. Probably there until Sunday. Storm hasn’t hit now they are saying this afternoon. Rain on and off, very windy otherwise some sun in and out.
At the Yacht club for breakfast. Dinner was casual and delicious at Pollo Hermanos. Good food, friendly staff and good prices.

Louise--glad you made it OK. I think that is probably wise, that BSV put you somewhere else. Take care, stay safe. Hopefully this will pass soon and with no damage.

Thanks all. Current conditions are windy. Not terrible though. On and off quick down pours. All non essential businesses had to close by noon.
We were at the Yacht Club at 7:30 am. Quiet a nice crowd arrived throughout the morning. We drove around a bit through Cole Bay and to Maho Village. A few shops and restaurants were open but most boarded up.
According to Tropical Weather Update as of 5 pm tonight Tammy’s closest point to SXM will be 60 miles East-northeast by early Sunday morning.

Yes, tomorrow morning will be the closest the hurricane is to the island. Best wishes to all on island.
