Searched a year back and did not find reference.

Has anyone been? Best area to stay? Must do's? Best time? We are considering Spring when the almond trees are blooming.

I'm a beach girl, though I doubt they would be what I'm accustomed to.
Hence, that's not particularly necessary. Great food (wine) and shopping are. Vino Verde anyone? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

If it's an RCI property, all the better.

Thanks y'all.

If you want great beaches in Portugal and warmer water you need to go South to the Algarve.
My former in laws were from Portugal and lived about an hour north of Lisbon the capital. Some great beaches that way too and wonderful seafood. Great historical sites, excellent vino verde, ice cold with seafood and of course some wonderful Ports (sherry).

Regards

Love Portugal...we used to go to the Algarve. There are many timeshare there. We lived in Vale do Lobo. Nearby Quita do Lago and Vilamoura have many timeshares. Lots of golf and great beaches. Fantastic local food. I miss it very much. Vinho Verde...yummmm
