First time sailing to Bahamas and looking for advice on whether to get a different chip. We have a Navionics+ chip in a Raymarine plotter. Any other chip people have used?

Are you chartering, or taking your own boat? If you're chartering, the charter company will have the right chips for your use. If you're taking your own boat -- sorry, I can't remember what we did (we have a Raymarine plotter). You might want to check the Active Captain website. Regardless of the chip, you'll be well-served by having the paper Explorer chart books -- they are worth their weight in gold because they contain lots of additional information.

The Explorer Charts are also on a C-Map chip that we have for your Raymarine MFD.
