Hey guys, what’s a good place to get the antigen test done in a Maho area? We saw a truck parked in Simpson Bay by the Roxy parking lot but it was closed…

You can also walk-in to the lobby of the Sonesta and sign up for the daily testing that they do over at La Terrasse. Cost is $55 and the link below will take you to a prior thread with more info. prior thread. - Maho testing

For those of you who want to get your antigen test in the Maho area it is done in the plaza level across the street from the Sonesta at La Terrasse. I own a condo in La Terrasse and operate an Airbnb there. All my guests are tested there. Depending on the dates and their destination there have been rapid antigen test and rt-pcr test. You can book these tests directly online and pay online using your credit card. That cost for a rapid antigen test when booked directly online is $45 us. The PCR test when booked directly is $75 us. Yes you can go to the Sonesta Hotel and fill out their paperwork and pay more, for example $55 us for the antigen test. Very simple to book the appointment online. Only takes a couple of minutes. They will email you a registration number. You go down with that number in the morning just after 8 a.m. and get your test. Results are emailed back to you very quickly. So it is your choice. Dr Phil--Isn't SLS the one that is by the hospital? If so, quite a ways away from Maho.

Hi Carol,
Yes they have a location directly across from the hospital in Belair.
However SLS has multiple locations. I have been tested at the Bellair location and Maho.
Because I have a condo in La Terrasse I'm very familiar with all the testing and SLS Labs.
They have operated the Maho location since last Oct 2021.
I have been tested there in the last few weeks and my friends were tested the last week.
SLS labs operates at that location.
As I mentioned the previous post, the rapid antigen test when booked online is $45. I saw many stating that it was $55. It is $55 if you fill out the paperwork at the Sonesta. They are getting their share which is $10. If it makes it easier for people to do that rather than book online then that is their option. I just wanted to put the correct information out there

Yes, Dr. Phil, we ALL know that you rent out your condo. A little less advertising of that fact would be appreciated, as you mention it in almost every post. We do offer PAID advertising..

One more question- you said that we register online and with the registration number walk into the test site at 8am. Is the 8am the only time option? Or it can be 9 or 10am?

At the Maho location in the plaza level of La Terrasse, it has been 8am - 10am.. it is directly across the road from the Sonesta Resort.
They were offering no testing on Sundays at that location. What I would suggest is if you are in the area any morning during the week while you are there you physically go there and they will tell you what the times are for the testing. That way you know for certain.
I went down a couple weeks ago at 8:30 a.m.. because I am Canadian and because the rules had not changed yet I required a PCR test which took only a few minutes. Now Canadians only require the rapid antigen test the day before you travel.
Hope that helps.

That’s awesome info, thanks again! We will stop by on Monday. Canadians also so the antigen test is all I need! Wife and daughter had Covid for Xmas so I’m the only one needed to be tested.

I’ve used Medworks in Simpson Bay for our last 2 trips and booked with them again for our trip in 2 weeks. You book online and the antigen test is $70. Always had our results in less than 1 hour via email
