I have a question for the group. What is the easiest way to pick someone up at the airport? Our niece will be joining us for part of our stay. We have not visited since 2016. Not sure about the set up of the new airport. Looking for advice since she is not a well seasoned traveler. Thanks
If it was me, Iād suggest she follow the crowd off the plane and do all the paperwork and procedural processes inside the terminal entry area, claim her bags if checking any, and then tell her to exit the terminal area where the rental car people stand and Iād meet her there snd walk her to my parked car.
Respectfully,
pat

And for a fun thing, since the car rental guys often hold up a sign with someone's name, make a sign with her name on it!! She'll probably get a kick out it!
FYI we went to the airport twice this week to pick up friends. Did exactly as suggested. The parking lot was free. I think their machinery is broken so the gates are always up.
We made the arrival sign for our grandkids. They missed their flight in Atlanta due to deicing in Iowa and had to overnight in Atlanta. Very unhappy travelers but when they saw their sign the smiles were priceless! ššš
