Here are some adjectives to describe the weather for the last week: windy, cloudy, changeable, cool, and sometimes rainy. Here are some adjectives to describe the ocean during the last week: wavy, cool, and murky. That said, the sun comes out every day -- if only for a short while.

We are at Orient Beach today. It was overcast, then rained for about half hour, then cleared off, then rained again for 20 minutes

Yeah, Orient was windy but sunny yesterday and has been overcast and rainy on and off today. We took today as a chance to go to L'Express for lunch (the croque monsieur was yummy!!) and get our dinner etc fixing at Super U for Super Bowl evening.

Yes! This would be a good year to have a vegetable garden. You could grow anything.

Heavy rain for about 15 minutes this morning then sunny all the rest of the day. I have not see the south end of Orient this busy since Irma. All chairs were gone at Club O by 10:30 small beach bars were very busy too.

John--sounds like good news for proprietors along Orient. Would appreciate a report when you get the chance.
