We are looking to purchase our first RV and are looking ahead to spending part of next winter in Florida. We are wondering if anyone knows of an adult only campground with a pool where nude sunbathing is allowed.
Strange as it may sound to some of you we would prefer a place where nudity is not the norm thoughout the facility other than the pool area. A little here and there would be okay just not all nude all the time.
Does anyone know of such a place?
Thanks.

You might be better served looking for a RV Resort near a clothing optional club. That way you could pick and choose when to see naked people. AANR resort locator

Good suggestion, as I don't think what the poster was originally asking for exists.

The place in Hudson...Gulf Coast....is great...
I have been visiting St. Maarten for 48 years as well as many other Islands....but SXM is "home". In the USA, I live between FL (north of Tampa/Pasco/Brooksville) and CT. Any questions, please mail me: [email]MrStMaarten@aol.com[/email

If you don't mind that the campground has little in the way of amenities you could stay at Merry D RV Resort. The lot size is huge which is nice. There is no nude there but next door, 5 minute walk or 1 minute ride is Cypress Cove. Spent two winters at Merry D and visited Cypress Cove just about every day. You can get a two week pass at CC for $50 PP.

Good idea....either Cypress Cove by itself or Merry D + Cypress Cove.

Cypress Cove is a nudist resort and, though it is clothing optional everywhere but the pool area, when it is warm there are plenty of us nudes to be found in most of the park. Thus it may not satisfy (?) the OP's specifications for only nude at the pool. On the other hand, it sure is worth a try!! We think that if you do, you'll adjust.
