finally decided to plan for another stay in St. Martin after 5 year absence. Now, need suggestions for a place to overnight in Miami on our way down and in Charlotte on our way back. Only going to need a place for 6 hours so don't want to spend a lot of vacation money on these places. Suggestions? Thanks,

As far as Miami we usually stay in the Miami International Airport Hotel. Very convenient location and reasonable priced.
