Yes ma’am. At the entrance (where I’ve always wanted the tiles, but they’re probably cursed like when the Brady Bunch went to Hawaii! Lol). Unless we pick you up?

Wow, adventurous hike! I wish I was on the Island and could go with you! Can't wait to hear all about it!
It was a beautiful morning. A friend suggested that we go at night, but there was no way in H.E.Doubletoothpicks I was going to do that! lol The mosquito situation alone, never mind the fright factor!
What a grand place this must have been. We found tiles, the reception and check-in area, the ballroom. A beautiful staircase where the room had sadly been burned. The office behind the reception area had training manuals, facsimile cover sheets, and completed faxes, as well as staff meeting notes from 1994. All earily readable 27 years and several hurricanes later.
Thanks for the report and the photos! We were there once when my brother who has worked for various hotels had stayed there with his family-- it was a lovely place! We may have to take a hike there ourselves next year. It's incredible that so much of it still remains untouched.
reminds me of the ruins of Autour Du Rocher, the old hotel/bar/club overlooking Lorient and St. Jean in St. Barth, originally owned by Jimmy Buffett (he has a song about it)…supposedly David Letterman eventually bought the land after the place burned down in ‘91
