For those of you coming in on major airlines and need to pick up the luggage in SJU before going out again, I flew cape air to EIS yesterday - the line up to get through security was crazy - I don't know if there was a cruise ship in port or what (there was only one as we flew in) - make sure you have TSA precheck on your ticket. Saved about 2 hours in my estimation - lineup was all the way to the American Airlines ticket counter.

There are no ships sailing from US ports, including PR, as of yet, so you can't blame the line on a cruise ship. Ships are out there, but sailing without pax as of yet.

Yes, I came back through SJU yesterday (Friday) about noon. Security line at SJU was very long. I was able to get priority security from my airline since first class. The line was moving fairly fast, but I could see it taking an hour for the full line. On our trip down (a Wednesday at 6pm) SJU security line was very short.
