Four men "hacked" to death a 29 year old man on island - died from being "chopped" about the body.

It's such a small island he must have done something pretty bad for that to happen.
A few years back someone got into my boat on Canouan and stole a spear gun while I was ashore having dinner at the Tamarind Hotel.

I can just about guarantee that this was not a random event and that they all knew each other.

Saildoggie,
I passed Canouan many times without stopping for whatever reason. Finally stopped there last year and was very unimpressed. Can't visit most of the island as it is owned privately and guarded with no admittance. The anchorage can be very uncomfortable with some howling winds coming over the hill. You will hear of nice little spot to anchor but only for 1 boat. If you have ample time and just want to go there, cool but there are far better places to anchor in this chain in my opinion.

smooth sailing and fair winds!!!
