We are renewing our Global Entry card, due in about 6 months. There is a question about places visited in the past 5 years. There is a long list of countries, but the British Virgin Islands is not included in the list. There was a FAQ about the USVI, and other territories of the US, but no mention of the BVI.
Has anyone renewed their Global Entry or another trusted traveler program, and ran into a similar situation??

I renewed mine and left off BVI because it was not on the list. Renewed with no problem.

Good luck .... I applied for my 2nd renewal nearly 9 months ago, and it is still pending. I've had Global Entry since 2010 and my travels would not set off any alarms. My first renewal in 2015 didn't even require a personal interview. Now I can't even get a conditional renewal, and when (and if) I do, I understand scheduling an interview is nearly impossible. Supposedly all expirations have been extended for one year, but I can't verify because I haven't traveled. I wasn't able to locate BVI in the list of counties.

Mobile passport is just as fast and in some cases faster than using global entry. It’s also free. G

In STT no paperwork, just present passport to CMP, they ask a few questions and you are off. I don't see the need for global entry or mobile entry

It was that way when I signed up years ago. Thanks for the reminder to check my expiration date. Now let me travel!

Noel- The Global Entry main webpage is showing that operations are suspended until at least September 8, 2020. I’m not sure exactly what “operations suspended” means though. I live in Minneapolis and I first received Global entry in 2011. I had to do the interview in Detroit because Minneapolis wasn’t doing interviews here yet. When I did my first renewal in 2016 I did not have to do an interview, they just told me I was good to go online. This year I decided to apply for my renewal early due to the delays. I applied online on July 30 2020 and received my “Conditional Approval” August 4. When I tried to schedule an interview here in Minneapolis it showed there were no appointments available on any date, at any time. The only place that is consistently showing available dates is JFK. I have a year of validity still remaining so I’m not going to go to JFK to get the renewal completed! I got an email the other day that told me there is a new program if you have a conditional approval. With a conditional approval, you can get an interview when you return to the USA on an international arrival flight at many airports. This is the link to that information- https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/enrollment-arrival

rm3 - I summitted my renewal last December, although my Global Entry didn't expire until June of this year. I thought earlier the better under the circumstances. I continue to check, but so far, no 'conditional approval' to allow me to schedule an interview, even if I could swing one. My last renewal did not require an interview, and I'm still hoping for the same this renewal, although seems I'm getting only the 'Apple spinning wheel' with no end in sight?
