The picture was taken from hotel room in the Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel late Sept
The Youtube clip is from the following January: Qasr al-Nil Bridge

It looks like the guy filmed it was just a floor or two below where I stayed.

Sleepychef you are correct it is the Qasr al-Nil Bridge in Cairo, Egypt

You are up!

Tom, I wish I had a cabin overlooking the falls, would probably be in the multi million range!! Ours is in the GW National Forest on the Virginia/WV line.

Riverboat isn’t the typical Nile River boat, as they are smaller up river.

The Google Rule is now in effect

Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin
aka... Cusco Cathedral in Cusco, Peru

sleepychef that was a good one... pretty tuff. The flag got you in the ballpark, but the trail went cold.

Here is one that I think can be solved with a few hints.

Pretty sure most folks have seen it in its glory days, but it is nowhere near as formidable today.

TravelHat you are only off a little bit wink

From my old high school home room this location is about 750 miles north and approx 4200 miles east (give or take a little bit)

Hint 1
Back in the day, the night would be illuminated with poweful lights and a crowd roar could be heard miles

That looks like a race track for open wheeled race cars. The yellow boxes are the car placement, but where in the heck is it, and the over grown stands and what appears to be a soccer field has me stumped.

Carol you are correct - Nuremberg Zeppelin Field where the major Nazi rallies in the 30s were held.

I stood at that platform and I can honestly tell you I could sense evil. I have been to many memorials and historic places and been moved, but never never have I felt evil.
And not sure I could even describe it today. I was very uncomfortable to stand in a place where the worst of the human race chanted.

TravelHat it has been used for formula track finish point, but not in many a year and also a HS soccer field.

The amphitheater structure was falling into ruins, and when I was there they were debating what to do restore or destroy.

Tom--have you been to Dachau? I felt evil there. Also, those of you from the DC area will remember John Mohammed, the DC sniper. He was tried in my home courthouse at the time, Manassas. I happened to be there for his arraignment, and I felt EVIL incarnate then.

I don't have access to any pictures here, so if anyone wants to post a picture, go ahead. Otherwise, I will post one in the morning.
