Can anyone kindly give me a short list of their favorite yacht charter companies from St Thomas?

CYOA is about the only charter company I have ever really read about.

Thanks in advance

(I am certain there is a thread about this...apologies for not searching....)

CYOA is probably the best charter outfit in the USVI & BVI.
They have a very good crew to help make your vacation a winner every time.

+1 for Island Yachts. My wife and I generally sail alone and find their Island Packet boats ideal for a couple. My wife, in particular, loves working with Skip, the owner of Island Yachts. Sailing out of Redhook is convenient and provisioning out of Moe’s Market is as easy as it gets. We always start and end our charters with drinks and meals at Duffy’s Loveshack...our favorite “parking lot” bar ever.

We've chartered twice with Virgin Island Yacht Charters out of Compass Point Marina, near Red Hook and been very happy with them. Both times were on a F/P Helia 44. Really nice owners. CYOA sure has a great reputation as well.

We chartered In December 2018 with Virgin Island Yacht Charters on a F/P Helia 44 and in December 2019 with CYOA on a Lagoon 42.

Would definitely choose CYOA over VIYC. Cannot compare the professionalism, boat preparation and customer service between the two.

Thanks for the love everyone. By the way, it looks like we will be able to open up on June 1st. Trips will be USVI based only for the remainder of the summer. The airlines are adding some airlift. We plan to have boats available from June 1st until early August for anyone that wants to come down.

As of right now the BVI is closed to recreational boating internally. They are also closed to boats, private or charter entering from outside their territory. This ban is not scheduled to change until September 1.

Also, the SVI's are on a total lockdown. There is no indication as to when they will open back up. They are heavily restricting entry by vessels.

This was on the "Tradewinds" an online news outlet here in the USVI today:
