Thanks for posting this. Makes me wish I would have started to visit St. Maarten long before I did. Looked like sea grasses were not much of a problem back then!

Thanks for sharing!!! It was one of our favorite beaches!!! IMHO. Ms. Bee's had the best ribs on the island! What a great deal she had. $20.00 two chairs, umbrella and sand table with a welcome rum punch each (For 2 people) ! KILLER!! She had great lunch food!! Her lil family would help out!! With everything and getting run off the beach. So sad!!

We used to stay in one of the apartments in the Great House on Dawn Beach back when Busby's / Daniel's were the top attractions there. One day the late Phil Cerami, who owned it all, invited me upstairs to look at his album of old island photos. These were all from his album. I shot the album that day and created the video you see here but the credit for all this goes directly to Phil and his family. I do not know if the album survived Irma. Phil and Tina and their son Philip where there through Irma, which ripped the roof off part of the building. Glad you guys like the video, feel free to share it widely.

wow thank you ! We were there in 1985, our first trip. stayed at Dawn Beach resort
cant wait to go back ..with the grace of the Good Lord, November....otherwise next June
