We’ll be there 10 nights. We’ll fall into some old habits I’m sure but hoping to add some new places.
What are folks latest Top 10 restaurants?

While I agree with some already mentioned, I would also add Sublime and Bar Code to the list.

Ocean 82 is immediately across the street from Bistrot Cariabes, where Fish Pot used to be. Classic French.

Pelican Pirate, what is your criteria to make a restaurant one of a top 10 list? Are you looking for by prices, by food, casual, upscale?

Carib Lee--Le Galion?? Not sure what you mean. If you mean the restaurant that was on Le Galion beach, it is gone, ever since Irma. Possibly, even before??

No--this one is in Marina Royal (Marigot) next to La Main a la Pate........or at least it was this past July. Was told it was opened by the owners of one of the Grand Case' restaurants (Ocean 82 I think) while they were waiting on their Grand Case property to be restored. It was very good. Went twice.

just one mans opinion....
Breakfast Yacht Club - best Bloody Mary's on the planet! watching the mega yachts go through the drawbridge El Zafiro - love the pancakes, (more like johnny cakes) Zee Best - cant beat the fresh pastries
Local Lunch Rosie's on Mullet bay beach - oh those ribs Talk of the Town - the chicken off that grill OMG! Fat Tony's - $2 Captain Morgans, isn't that enough? AND great pizza, fagetaboutit!
Special Lunch Anse Marcel - never a bad meal, i recommend anything and everything! Yellow Beach - Grilled Caribbean Lobsters served in the ocean, just pure paradise!
Dinner Emilio's - Dino's gone but he left his impression, fantastic food! Jax - pricey but, steaks done right! try the octopus salad. Moulan Fou - roasted Veal chop, boom! Marc's Place - where the locals eat. very reasonable prices, fantastic food! Skipjacks - best seafood on the island, great staff, the tuna carpaccio,a great start, crab stuffed tilapia, and then Key Lime Pie for the win! Izi's - great very fresh Italian food, homemade pasta (gluten free available), my advise always end with the lemoncello. oceans 82 - Pappardelle Al Ragu, oh yummy!
late night 3 amigo's - because, why not? everyone's got room for a taco.
hope this helps, it was fun for me... but now I'm damn hungry!!!!

We’re not terribly into food or high end dining as a general rule of thumb but what does matter to us is good food, well served and at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we tend to be less inclined to travel all over the island for meals of late, particularly at night, so my choices are also narrowed by that fact. And obviously, I can’t count to ten or limit my choices......
The only caveat I will offer referencing my favorites is Sublime - we had three meals there over our last two week trip and each one was awesome. If it was in a somewhat different setting it would hands down have been my absolute favorite dinner spot on the island.
Favorite Restaurants
Breakfast
The Yacht Club - it just doesn’t get any better, IMHO Chesterfields Holland House El Zafiro
Lunch
Touch of French (or French Touch) Rosie’s on Mullet Bay
High-end lunch
Friars Baie Beach Cafe Anse Marcel Beach Restaurant
Easy Dinner
Marks Place Spaghetti House Bar Code Fat Tony’s Sublime
Dinner
Palapa Grill Mario’s Le Moulin Fou Sublime Isola
Respectfully,
pat

It was called Enjoy but has just closed as owner opened Ocean 82 and he also owns the building so hoping to sell it or have the restaurant rented for the right price.

bran--thanks. I knew there was a restaurant there in Marina Royale, but didn't think the name was right. Hoping you get the chance to try Ocean 82 and make a report.

Bran is correct....it was called Enjoy, not Le Galion. I couldn't remember the name and made the mistake of looking at Google Maps to pull up the name. Must have been a Le Galion restaurant there in the past. Sorry to hear that Enjoy can no longer be enjoyed as that location is much more convenient to me than Grand Case.

Thanks all....
If we go at all, we plan to go to new places with very few oldies except absolute favorites. Here are the places on the list (* = been before):
Here is the wish list: Dutch Yacht Club* El Zafiro Marks Place Moulin Fou* Palms Lees Isola Vesna Traverna Little Jerusalem ————— French Le Piment Astrolabe Bistrot Caraibes* Talk of the Town*
We are supposed to stay French side but it all better be calmed down in next 24 hours or we are going Dutch or not at all.
