There you go! It looks nice, EXCEPT I would like to have a TV. View from the balcony looks nice!

You don't need no stinking TV!

BTW, I checked out the sports bar above the chicken place and it appears to be closed. Sign mentioned a vacation in August and nothing since.

TVs are available upon request. I had one when I was in #1 in July. When I was viewing the first-floor units, some did have TV and some did not. I mentioned that to Cherry. She said they were available and put in the notes of my reservation that I wanted a TV; I hope I do have one as I can't live three weeks without news.

JD--Yes, I DO need a stinkin' TV! grin Talking about Thirsty Barons, I fear they are gone.

Linda--good to know that a TV is available. That puts HT on my list of available places to stay.. No pool, but the price is cheap, off season, anyway.

I saw a TV in one of the ground floor units so I guess it is possible. In talking with the owners, they are wanting to continue to update some things but also keep the charm of the original Horny Toad. We offered a couple of suggestions that they were very receptive to.

I remember the big hullabaloo at Club Orient when they put TVs in the units. If you don't want it, no problem, just leave it off! grin If I could be guaranteed a TV, I might try it out.

We loved not having a TV in all the years we stayed at the Toad. There used to be one under the round house next to the office (as well as a computer to use). I could never figure out how to operate that TV, which had two different remotes. If I did get it to work, there was nothing much on to watch anyway. Great pictures of the new and improved Toad. Hopefully there are nice balcony tables and chairs out there.
