Yes, except where do they put the cars? Valet or not, there has to be space for the cars to be parked and it is very slim in that area. The area up around Red Piano is usually packed, near Royal Palm or across the street possibly. Unless Lee comes up with something farther up the hill near the restaurant, it could take some time to retrieve a valet parked car. Sorry but the parking situation has disaster written all over it. Unless one can walk to Lee's from where they are staying, this is likely going to be a major headache for a lot of people.

True. Maybe he can rent some spaces from the Atrium.

Having stayed at Atrium in March, there are not a lot of extra (if any) parking spaces there and the garage is controlled by a pass key. It is not a good situation (the parking that is) no matter how you slice it. That area also gets backed up if there is a bridge opening of any length, when workers are getting off from the resorts or when there is an accident at the bottom of the hill.

He has a big challenge but will survive once Flamingo and Royal Palm reopen . At nights a lot of cars can park in Simpson Bay area and walk there after.

The older that my knees get, the happier that I am to pay for the convenience of Valet Parking.

Seems that the street may end up jammed at times with folks trying to find parking.

Hollywood casino has valet parking which could be an option to go to before or after walking for dinner at Lees.

Hollywood wouldn't be an option for me, as I can't walk that far, up that hill. I have never been that excited about Lee's anyway. If I can't park right there, I would pass. Too many other places with easier parking.

We walk up that hill all the time returning from buccaneer. Not so bad if you cut through the Simpson Bay villa drive way.

We also walk up that hill MANY times and then up the hill to the upper B building. Just sayin' some might not be comfortable with the walk

That would be a major walk for many people and while I have done that and more many times, many will not.

When I was on the island in March, I had to park up by La Vista one day to go to Aqua Mania. I have not had to park that far away even during Regatta.

I wish Lee well but the parking is going to be a major issue for many.

Nothing available at the Atrium regarding parking. There is a lot up the hill from Lee's used by overflow from the Greenhouse that might work in conjunction with the Greenhouse.

Why would the Greenhouse agree to allow parking there by a competitor?

Some people can get away by finding parking in Simpson Bay Villas area also.

I took a walk past Lee’s this morning and took a few photos of the surroundings ...... including one photo while standing on the edge of their small parking lot......the entrance to the restaurant is from there. Also included a shot of Billy Folly road in front of Lees. If you are too far away to walk, Perhaps taxis are another option, especially if some folks could share. Also, Lees is a 2 minute flat walk from the main road / Burger King..... so perhaps even a bus there and a taxi back could be considered. We met some fellow guests here at SBBR who are quite pleased with their (cheap) bus destination options.

I hope the photos show up....it is the first time I tried Attachment Manager

Oh I don't know about that. We have stayed many times at the Villas and had a hard time finding parking when we returned at night after dinner. I would not be too happy with that! Hotel guests should not have to deal with that!

How would anyone park anywhere in/at SBR without a parking permit? The guards 90% of the time look for it before opening the gate

I have occasionally parked at that one rooftop parking lot when I was going to that Mexican restaurant there (sorry, can't remember the name) or to Neil's son's restaurant (can't remember that name either!!) but I told the guard that's where I was going. (Sorry, only one cup of coffee so far this morning and CRS setting in! duh)

I can see people parking along Billy Folly hugging the retaining wall just as they do along the retaining wall where Isola and Peli Deli is. Will be a little tight but people will do it.
