Why do I suspect there will be a bundle of joy soon?

Sorry, everyone. Iā€™m sure you call all guess itā€™s been a crazy last few days, and theyā€™ll continue for a few more, but I promise Iā€™ll finish the report.

But since thereā€™s already speculation, I will report one thing:

NO, I AM NOT PREGNANT.

There. I know a lot of people might have figured that because of the circumstances, so I had to clarify that. Some feel I give out too much information, so Iā€™ll only say this: I did not take my vows pregnant. That was not why we did what we did.

Allison, you shouldn't have to explain to anyone here why you married when you did. If you're happy, then I'm happy for you! Now go enjoy your honeymoon in Paradise!

Itā€™s all fun Allison. Everyone is pleased for you. Rare I believe to get someone so young on this board and so full of life.. so go and enjoy it.

Allison, we didn't get married in SXM but went there on our honeymoon and have been returning every year since (40 years now) Hope you get to do the same and build memories. Best of luck and happiness.

Hi Allison

Congratulations! I wish you both well. Time goes by before you know it, always remember happiness is not a destination it is in the journey.

One of my favorite poems for you

Ok, sorry everyone, Iā€™m back.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Iā€™m really touched.

Tammy, that was beautiful!

But I know this is what youā€™ve all been waiting for, so...

July 30, 2019

I Did: I went to Tijon Perfume with my mom and did another perfume making class. It was just me and my mom for a good reason....actually, two. One, my mom and I wanted to make a perfume for me to wear for the 31st, and we wanted to surprise my boyfriend. Two, and it was kind of bittersweet, but we wanted one last mother/daughter activity. We both cried when it was over. Afterward, we went back to the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant. I finished the day in the pool; I wanted to spend that time alone, thinking about my life and where I was going, but I needed someone to be there in case I had a seizure. Oh well.
I Ate: The ribs were so nice I had to have them twice!
I Bought: I got the perfume. ā™„ļø
I Wore: I wore a crop top and my green cargo capris. I wore my bikini in the pool, of course.
I Thought: My last night as a spinster.....

Ok, hereā€™s what youā€™ve been waiting for....

July 31, 2019

I Did: I GOT MARRIED...THATā€™S WHAT I DID! Okay, okay, details. I got married outdoors. with just my parents and a few staff in attendance. I walked down a white carpet to 1,000 Years (Bella Swan also got married at my age, if you feel like wiping the dust off any Twilight DVDs). We took our vows under a white arbor with matching curtains. Palm trees and the beach were behind us. Iā€™m nonreligious, so our officiant instead simply told our lifeā€™s stories and our story as a couple, with traditional vows. There was no reception afterward. That means no dances or speeches; we only wanted a ceremony and nothing more. We did have an early dinner at the hotel restaurant, with yours truly still in her wedding dress, so I guess that maybe turned a few heads and caused a few ā€œWhatā€™s going ons?ā€ After that, my parents took us to the southern end of Orient Beach for a few pictures, since that was the spot where he proposed to me. The four of us then returned to what was my boyfriendā€™s room, but what had become mine and my husbandsā€˜ room, and celebrated the OTHER milestone of the day with birthday cake. Guess what else was waiting for us when we arrived in the room? CHAMPAGNE!
I Ate: I had angus beef filet for dinner and ice cream cake later in the day.
I Bought: The rest of my life!
I Wore: I wore my wedding dress (duh!)!!!!! Ok, thatā€™s the short version. Hereā€™s the long version. I woke up (alone for the last time) in my pajamas, showered, and got into my bridal robe. I put on my wedding dress about an hour before I walked down the aisle. Thanks, by the way, to those who called me beautiful. My dress covered both my shoulders and my arms, as the sun and my upper half donā€™t mix. As for my feet, I toyed with the idea of wearing white heels, but the last thing I wanted was to be miserable on my big day, so I decided to go barefoot. After we went to Orient, we changed into our ā€œgetaway outfits:ā€ both my husband and I wore only waistbands that respectively read ā€œMr.ā€ and ā€œMrs.ā€ on the back, and stayed that way for the rest of the evening (except for the robes we obviously had to clothe ourselves in for the car ride back and the walk to our room).
I Thought: My state of mind changed throughout the day. In the morning, I was in a panic, thinking: Will it rain? Will it storm? Will he get cold feet? Will I get cold feet? Will I have a seizure? Of course, none of that happened. The afternoon I was thinking: OMG weā€™re married! I mainly had that on my mind for the rest of the day. I almost forgot that it was my birthday. I only thought two other things that day: ā€œOh yeah, itā€™s also my birthday.ā€ (upon seeing the cake) and ā€œThereā€™s goosebumps on my butt.ā€ (upon eating it).

Sounds like a perfect wedding in a perfect place. Hope you guys the same luck I've been able to have with my bride of 41 years. No matter what else happens, the bond of love will overcome them all. Marriage is NOT 50/50, it's 100/100 because both parties have to give 100% for it to work. Your avatar picture shows us all that you looked like, and I'm sure you felt like, a princess. What better way to spend your wedding day than naked on the Club Orient beach! Congratulations!!!!!!

Thanks! Though we were wearing waist-bands....weā€™ve mentioned Donald Duck style, I think that was Ninja Turtle style.....?

OK I guess I misunderstood what exactly a waistband is. I thought that was a small strip of material that just surrounded the waist. I know that you had stated DD, Donald Duck not Dunkin' Donuts, before and I knew that was a shirt with no bottoms. But I am unfamiliar with the TMNT style other than, as I said, a small piece of material. If it's basically a sash, then for all intents and purposes you'd be, IMO, naked. Either way congratulations and enjoy the long road in front of you. Remember it's not the destination, it's the journey.

Yeah, it was just a sash I had around my waist that read ā€œMrs.ā€ on it. You are right. That being said, last March, when we were on Orient Beach and he was getting down on one knee, displaying the ring, and popping the question, I was, indeed, 100% totally naked (aside from the earrings). Howā€™s that for TMI? Lol

Okay.

Day 8

August 1, 2019

I Did: I went for a walk on the beach with my husband around ten in the morning. Unfortunately, that was all I was able to do that day, as I had a seizure on said beach. I spent the rest of the day in bed. Sorry, I know thatā€™s not an exciting day, but it is a miserable experience.
I Ate: Nothing. Once I have a seizure, thereā€™s no appetite for the rest of the day. It wouldnā€™t be the safest thing to do anyhow.
I Bought: Nothing. I was out of the room for less than two hours.
I Wore: For the walk on the beach, I wore a tee shirt and skirt, and was barefoot. Unfortunately, I got sand on everything during the seizure. But at least I got to spend the rest of the day in that brand new nightgown my mom got me.
I Thought: At least it wasnā€™t yesterday....

Hi Allison
Sorry to hear that you had a seizure.
I can imagine when it happens it puts a lots of stress on your body and must also be emotionally traumatic each time you have the experience.
Hope you are feeling better now and able to enjoy the rest of your sxm time.
Be well.

Thanks. I have one at least every couple of weeks so it wasnā€™t too surprising. My body just needs to reboot for the day after that, but I was back to normal the next morning.
