I know that Dreams was destroyed by Irma as well as Sands club next door. Is there anything similar to Dreams open on the island now?

Not really. Perhaps the closest is Anse Marcel Beach Club, although it's not nearly as attractive as Dreams. There is just the restaurant and the beach, not the additional sitting areas like at Dreams. LaPlaya is owned by Bruno and a partner and it has re-opened on Orient in a food truck, within this month. I have not seen any reports from folks eating there yet though.

You might want to look at Roxxy Beach along Kim Shaw in Simpson Bay next to Royal Palm. Has a plush resort feel.

Forgot about Roxxy, since we haven't been there yet. Is the music LOUD there? I don't care for loud music..

Not sure of that during the day. They do play their music at night though.
