It does not appear that SSBB and the Philipsburg beach get much business when ships are not in port based on the webcams. It is good to have a couple of days off, but hope business picks up.

Neither ones are really a destination for beach goers. People staying at Holland House will utilize Great Bay Beach but not much of interest for others on island. SSBB is best for plane watching with a beach. Again not much other draw for regular beach goers.

Its been that way for years. This is typical for this time of the year as less ships come to port. Island is used to this and businesses use this time to get caught up on paper work and other items on their list of things to do as hurricane season is upon them.
