That is good news. They carry Appleton 12 year rum. The French side does not & that's closer to Marigot than the Carrefour in Philipsburg.

Great news! So much easier for us to get to than the one by Mark's.

Where in Cole Bay is this located? Maybe a closer option before heading to villa next month.

Come across the causeway headed toward the French side and bear to the right, as you come out of the traffic circle. Within less than a half mile on the right, you go past Port de Plaisance, and the Carrefour is just a bit past PDP, on the right side of the road.

I guess it wasn't marked since the store has been closed since Irma.

The parking lot was jammed morning and afternoon when we drove by today. We prefer Super U. The prices are significantly better for the items we purchase such as cheese and liquor to name two .

Agreed, Super U seems to have the best prices on island. We have bought most of our groceries there recently. But from the Dutch side, it is nice to not have to deal with Marigot traffic. And if you want US products......

I have never been in that area before and sure I read that were were a few interesting places to see in Orange Grove Rd, or was that a shopping center with some wine place? Anyway, found a link to the area in question which also shows some good short cuts if traffic is bad from Wellington onto Union. At least I know now where their new supermarket will be located.

Yes, Sylvain's wine cellar is in the shopping center to which you refer, as is his restaurant, Le Champagne.
