Marina Cay use to one of our favorite place to stay. The views awesome, the protected Mooring field and Pussers.

The bar/ restaurant Tent on the Beach.... is it still a great overnight mooring site?
is the food preparation and plates delicious?
is there water and ice available?

In some ways Marina Cay is better. The old shop, originally a restaurant, is gone. The kitchen is in the old building behind the dumpster, with the bar outside and tables on the patio. The view is great.

I like the food. The menu is similar to before, but limited. Prices are not cheap. Tyrone tries to get local food, like fresh tuna with papaya salsa ($38).

I will have an update next month, but last month there hadn’t been much progress on the rebuild. There is gas and water for sale.

Thank you all,

Being able to get water is very good news. Excellent .

Not so good snorkeling, perhaps Irma had her way with slamming into the reef.

Even tho there is not much in marine life, we used to like to cool down and get in a snorkel swim to the beach,
and go ashore for a welcome Painkiller, and make a reservation for dinner. Just relax and feel good that we were there,
and then snorkel / swiim back to the boat, and get cleaned up for dinner ashore. Maybe some boat drinks and music before
dinner and dinking ashore.

We will make the best of what they do have, end enjoy our memories, and the view of the islands, has always been special to us.

Thank you again, we appreciate the updates.
