How long are you there? Where are you staying? I love the island. Lots to see and do. You definitely want a rental car...

We are there for 5 nights. Renting a car. Staying at Santa Barbara Beach resort-used to be a Hyatt.I hear it is a bit isolated.

As long as you are renting a car, save one day for a trip to the westside. That's where all the beautiful beaches are. Great for snorkeling and diving (if you do). Some are a little remote, some like Cas Abou and Porto Marie have restrooms and good dining places for a great lunch. Beaches there are great. Curacao is a great vacation destination, you will like it! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />

Although its touristy and a bit busy, I always love spending an afternoon at Seaquarium Beach "bar hopping".

Any suggestions for lunch downtown on "shopping" day?

Are there any hotels with suites that have direct beach access? Thanks!
