Out of all of our trips to the BVI, our latest one that we just got back from was all land based. Had to set the boat back 1 year due to a family illness.

We had the pleasure of renting a very clean and very dependable car from Clennell at Mahogany Car Rental on Virgin Gorda. We have rented many cars before and/or after the boat, but we have never had such a nice car as Clennell rented us.

Just thought he deserved a shout out and a plug from a very satisfied customer.

I've not used them yet, but their website is certainly professional and a cut above most of the competition. For better or worse that generally means something to me as a consumer. Looks like a nice selection of vehicles as well.

I actually liked them best for their laid back approach before taking our own car down. After a 12 hr or more day of travel they would meet us at the ferry dock, and the Owner or Puck often say. "If you need go to Bucks, just take it tomorrow and tell me what time and I'll swing by and finish the paperwork. Then would drop off at ferry dock when we left early, leave keys and go. Never a moments trouble.

We used them a few time in the past year. We had no issues and they were easy to work with.

This is great to hear. Thanks for sharing. I will use Mahogany next year instead of Speedys.

We have used them for all of our trips to VG and pre-pay through our rental villa with Guavaberry Spring Bay. Always good vehicles even last April following Irma, the Jimney was in good shape.

Renting from Mahogany via Guavaberry is definitely the way to go when you are staying there. Only once, after leaving the car at the ferry dock, we got an email a month later saying we hadn’t filled up the tank. We had, but had no proof. So we always take pictures of the gas gauge and vehicle when we depart. Since you leave the keys in it, anyone could borrow it
