Ok I’m just jesting, but really! With the great folks on TTOL on the island now, and no pictures, really? Let me explain this simply, take a photo on a phone or tablet, do your report in full editor and just add your pictures! That’s easy! We all love the reports and are waiting on baited breath for photos! But really, all of y’all heave a great vacation!
So, i have some good photos, which I have in Google photos. When I go to add a photo inTTOL, it wants a URL. In google photos, there are many options including create a link. Im not savvy on making an album you can see but not letting you see all my photos.
Google photos should work like any photo source/location. I use it to add to emails and it should work the same for this forum. Sometimes it's easier to save the Goole pic to your desktop so you can find it easier...mine always show as an attached file though...not a pic in the thread. Haven't figured that out yet
In full editor, go to attachment manager at the bottom, click on that and a small screen comes up.select a file (picture) to attach, click on that, when attached either add more or just hit done! See it’s that easy! One of our old phots from last year.
ok,,,so I have never been successful in attaching a photo to my previous trip reports, etc. While on the island I only have my samsung s9 phone. I am not that great at this technology thing, but I do know that you all love to see pics with report. What pray tell is Full Editor, lol? Trying to get this figured out before I leave to go to SXM.
Pony....if its an iPhone it won't rotate. The picture has to have been taken the way iPhone's were meant to take them...phone turned horizontal with the picture button on the right. To use an iPhone pic taken any other way, you have to strip the metadata.

This is Ful editor in the red. And pony600 your picture looks correct on my end! Fantastic job! As far as the size of the photo in full editor I’ve never had that problem. And yes Carol, you are right, that is right in front of BSV, home!
That’s funny beachkitten, I’ve never had to strip any data from my photos. I just use Full Editor and let the program do the rest, easy as pie, once your use to doing it that way. It’s really not that hard, try not ove4 think it!
