Can you see all the way down to El Zafiro? They've been bringing cruisers in as well.

So were they (the cruisers) all staying directly in front of Karacter or did they spill over to the Boon?

How would you descibe the crowd other than large? Fun? Behaved? Should of went to Orient?

Thankfully, Karakter is far enough away they were no issue at the Boon.

Same last week and they come on a tour boat off of the ships to swim and hang out for a few bucks per head paid by tour boat to the bar most likely. Another reason I am not crazy about Karakter and El Zafio i read is allowing it now too. If I was a guests paying to be there I would not be very happy. Its just next to Karakter and normally stay a hour or so when we saw it. Pretty far down the beach from Mary's Boon so no issue.

Thanks for honing my expectations. After yellow, dark blue is my favorite color for a sxm beach umbrella.

Is the second picture taken from Mary's Boon with the yellow umbrellas? Is that Beachside Villas in the background? We're staying there for the first time in July. Where is the first picture taken with the blue umbrellas? TY

The yellow umbrellas I believe are Karakter and yes the second picture with the plane in it shows the end of BSV closest to Karakter. The blue umbrellas are supposedly Mary's Boon.

Sitting at the Boon looking at yellow starting after the dining room. One umbrella and 3 triangular sheets flapping in the sun.

We were there yesterday all afternoon! Sorry we missed you!

The yellow "sails" are on the quieter guests end of the property. Sometimes a blue umbrella sneaks in!

Thanks again! Not familiar with this area at all so I'm just trying to "get a visual" for our July trip. So excited I can't even say. LOL

Sorry we missed you too. Would have been nice to chat. We were sitting in front of Room 114, looking at the open space where rooms 109 1nd 110 once were and reminiscing about over twenty years of our staying there.

We enjoyed our visit at 110.....are they not rebuilding?? Lovely place with open areas where you can mingle with the other guests. Definitely a go to place for us if BSV isn't available.
