Getting to GCM the 4th of July for a week or so. Been there many times, but wondering if anything special is going on? Best place for Sunday brunch (still the Westin)? I rememember BBQ night, but can't remember the name of the place, out by the turtle farm? also, would love to to some sailing. Ideas? Anyone need crew? Cant wait. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

Brunch options are many: Westin, Ritz, Luca are popular on Seven Mile Beach; Tukka out on East End. Many of the restaurants will have their own brunch options as well.
Some BBQ options are Thur-Sat at the roadside venues (Chef John, Norma Jean's, Prospect/Grand Harbour BBQ, etc...), full-moon pig roast at Ortanique at Camana Bay, Tuesday Beach BBQ at Kaibo in Cayman Kai, MacaBuca (Monday Nights near Turtle Farm), Morgan's Harbour Sunday BBQ (2nd & last Sunday of the month).

A good way to save money on restaurant food is to go to a late lunch and at many places get same food for less cost. Find out what the restaurant's hours are for lunch & dinner so you hit them at right time. Also find out if there are any "happy hour" drink or appetizer specials OR early-bird specials. OR if you go at dinner, eat only part of your meal & take rest back to your condo kitchen for another evening....
