I read a few days ago about an area or accommodation where we could stay that had multiple hiking trails ( nude friendly ) but can't find or remember what the place is. Anyone have any ideas? We have been at Terra Cotta and Desert Sun but this is a different place and apparently west of Palm Springs. The site I saw even included some cyclists that used the trails.

Are you thinking of Glen Eden? It's west of Palm Springs, but I don't know about nude hiking there..never been. http://gleneden.com/about-us/directions/

I'll look into it.
Something about a ranch? in the name comes to mind.

It had to have been Olive Dell Nudist Ranch. Lots and lots of hiking trails. Glen Eden, of which we are members, has a "trail" but it pales in comparison to ODNR's trails. For even better trails ... look up DeAnza Springs Nude Resort in Jacumba, CA, about an hour + east of San Diego! Lots more trails there and hiking in a National Park adjacent to the resort! http://deanzasprings.com/

Olive Del Ranch sponsors an annual Bare Burro 5-K Run in the buff. Great fun. Always in April; 27 April in 2014.

Learn something new every day on this Board. Never heard of Olive Dell and it is only about 40 minutes from us. Did a search on trip advisor but no reports.
Wondering what the vibe is there, age ranges, couples only or singles allowed, C/O or total nudity etc. Any infor would be appreciated. Thanks

What a wonderful resource this is! This gives needed information for a midwestern couple that is looking for warmer locations for nude recreation options in the southwest. We visited Palm Springs a few years ago and were impressed with the number of fit and active "older" people in that area.

There was a two page spread on Olive Dell in the AANR Bulletin maybe 6 months age. You should be able to search for it if you are a member. Looked a little rustic if I remember correctly. I put it on my bucket list.
