I'm not exactly sure who all is still in business. The building where Travel and AAA was, is half gone and the only cars there are wrecks. We tried to contact both before we came and did not receive a response. We rented through Lesley this time. For those who have been on island since the hurricane, please state who you rented through.

We've rented from angela@horizoncarrentals for several years and are scheduled for October.

We used Lesley with Kenny's car rentals.

I remember seeing people who posted a few months ago they rented from Alain at AAA, but another poster said they had troubles getting a hold of him. Was the Travel side of the building gone? The AAA side houses the equipment for the PTz mahobeach cam, so I'm sure that side still has to be there. Anyone else have any contact from Alain?

We used Hertz this last May. Couldn't believe the price. Rented for 3 weeks for 125.00 a week for a fairly new corolla. Liability insurance included. Total bill cam to 398.00 after airport fees.

We have rented from Angela @ Horizoncarrentals. Last time was this past March.

Both sides of that building had huge damage.

We have rented from Hertz in the past, around $17 per day, we have a rental booked with them for July for about the same money, am trying to book for November and they want $300 for 5 days :-(

I rented from Leisure for three weeks. My price was just a few dollars more than Scubaman's and also included liability insurance. I am a repeat customer. I know of someone else who got a quote from them for a ridiculously high price.

Could be supply and demand for certain time periods. I too am a replete customer with Hertz for many years.

We love Moti and Ann @ Soualiga. Rented from them most recently in March. Moti meet us @ airport with car 5 minute turnaround and on our way. Drop off same scenario.
